Marmaduke, Son Of John And Dorothy Richmond

2545.  Marmaduke Richmond 7 (John 6, Sylvester 5, Cyrus 4, John 3, Edward 2, John 1), son of John and Dorothy (Hutchinson) Richmond, of Murray, Northumberland County, C.W. (Ontario) Canada.

Marmaduke Richmond's wife, Levina [Terrill], was married to Thomas Outwaters and living with children John Richmond and his twin sister, M. Sophia Richmond, according to the 1861 census.  There was also a young Levi Outwaters, age 4, in the household.  At this point I'm assuming that Marmaduke died between 1851 and ca 1856.

Genevieve Richmond Carradine

Thanks to fellow Richmond descendant, Michelle, who informed me that Genevieve Winifred (Richmond) Carradine, who was notable in her own right (said to be the first female brain surgeon in the United States, though I have yet to find corroborating evidence), was also famous through her Carradine son (John, born Richmond Reed Carradine) and grandchildren.

Genevieve Winifred Richmond was born in 1885 to Horace and Winifred (Ryan) Richmond, in Milford, Otsego County, New York.

Source Of  Reed Carradine Drawing

*Genevieve Richmond married (1st) William Reed Carradine, a corrspondent for the Associated Press, on February 3, 1905, in New York.  Mr. Carradine died about 1908.  Her second husband was Leonard Adolph Peck, whom she married in Philadelphia in 1916.  Leonard Peck died on 20 April 1967, in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Death record index for Genevieve:
