Sally, John Richmond's Wife, Vouched For Eli Rood

Sally Richmond was the oldest daughter of Eli Rood, per her deposition on a pension file found at Fold3.  Sally also stated that she married John Richmond 24 Dec 1799.  Hillsdale, Columbia County, New York, was Sally's place of residence.

The Peleg Sisson / Abigail Richmond marriage (Bible) record was also found in Eli Rood's pension file application at  Fold3.  Abigail was John Richmond's aunt; sister of John's father, Stephen Richmond.

937.  EDWARD RICHMOND(6) (Edward 5, Benjamin 4, Edward 3, Edward 2, John 1) was born in Spencertown, N.Y., about 1770 [1760], and died in Steuben County, N.Y., December 30, 1856.  He married Huldah (Polly) ______, who died in Herkimer, N.Y., aged forty years.  They resided in Oneida, N.Y.  He served in the Revolutionary War.
