Anna (Richmond) Warner #6250





#6250.  Anna Elizabeth Whitwell Richmond 8 (Bradford P., 7; Bradford, 6; Perez, 5; Perez, 4; Silvester, 3; Edward, 2; John 1) was born December 11, 1842.  She married, June 29, 1865, W. P. Warner.  he was a lawyer; settled in Winchester, Tenn.; removed in 1862 to St. Paul, Minn., where he resided in 1895.  Children were Anna Richmond Warner and Richmond Perez Warner.

"Anne Warner is the author of The Rejuvenation of Aunt Mary, and other stories."  Mrs. French left her home here [St. Paul, Minn.] last Tuesday for her villa at Braun Schwerg, Germany...".


She died 4 February 1913 in Dorset, England.

Susanna (Richmond) Shaver

SUSANNA A. RICHMOND 8, (George W. 7, Stephen 6, Edward 5, Benjamin 4, Edward 3, Edward 2, John 1) was born August 28, 1835. She married, January 18, 1862, Edgar A., son of George (d. 1846) and Sarah Shaver, all of Harlemville, N. Y. He was a carriage manufacturer. Residence (1896) at Myrtle Springs, Tex.

7423. George Richmond Shaver (9), born Sept. 10, 1862; died Sept., 1889, married, Dec. 6, 1883, Clara E. Norton of Pontiac, Mich. He was a weigh-master, and resided in Duluth, Minn. Children: Ina Maud Shaver 10, born Nov. 16, 1884; Helen M. Shaver 10, born Jan. 4, 1887; Lena Clare Shaver 10, born April 29, 1889.

7424. Sarah Philena Shaver (9), born Nov. 14, 1863; married, Jan. 4, 1883, William H. Pritchard of Pittsfield, Mass. He was a Teller in the Adams National Bank, North Adams, Mass. Children: Herbert Edgar Pritchard 10, born Aug. 9, 1886; Margaret R. Pritchard 10, born June 19, 1888.

Susanna Richmond was living in Hillsdale, Columbia County, New York, in 1850  and 1860 with her parents.

Edgar Shaver, wagon maker, was living in Hillsdale, Columbia County, New York, in 1860, with a Becker family. 

E.A. and Susanna, George and Philena Shaver were living in Columbia County in 1870 and 1875.

George Richmond Shaver's widow, Clara (Norton) Shaver (1853-1943), married William Weld.  The children, Ina Maud, Helen, and Clara Shaver were living with William Weld as step-children in Duluth in the 1900 MN Census.  Marana (Hicks) Norton was his mother-in-law living in the same household (Marana died in 1916).

Joel Warren Richmond & Family

JOEL WARREN RICHMOND (8) (Amaziah 7, Amaziah 6, Amaziah 5, Ebenezer 4, Ebenezer 3, John 2, John 1) was born in Whitewater, Wis., January 20, 1857. He married at Pewaukee, Wis., October 12, 1881, Helen Naomi Clark. He was a graduate of the Normal School at Whitewater, and taught school a short time; then engaged in commission and grain brokerage business in Minneapolis, Minn., where he resided in 1896.

The Joel Warren Richmond family was in Minneapolis, Hennepin Co., Minnesota in the 1900 census.

The daughter of Joel Warren & Helen (Clark) Richmond, Mrs. Helen Ivah (Richmond) Jerome, wife of Albert C. Jerome, was in the DAR. In Hennepin County, Albert and Helen (who had been married 1 year) were living with Albert's brother, Waldron and two others in 1910. In 1920 Albert & Helen were still in Hennepin Co., MN, along with their daughter, Margaret (age 4) and their son, Waldron (age 3). In 1930 the same family group, Albert, Helen, Margaret and Waldron, were still living in Minneapolis.

In 1920, Hewitt W. Richmond was an officer in the U. S. Army at Fort Monroe, Elizabeth City County, Virginia. Living with him was his wife, Marguerite, who was born in England. They were also enumerated with Hewitt's parents in Hennepin Co., MN, in 1920.

Captain Hewitt W. Richmond died 8 January 1938 and was buried at Forest Hill Cemetery in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. His father, Joel, who died 11 March 1939, was also buried there. Marguerite (Mrs. Hewitt Richmond), who died 15 December 1962, was also buried at Forest Hill.
