5450. ADAM RICHMOND, 8 (Adam 7, Preserved 6, Adam 5, Stephen 4, John 3, Edward 2, John 1) was born in Le Roy, N.Y., April 25, 1824. He married, first, December 10, 1846, Frances Lodena, daughter of James Sweet. She was born in Chardon, O., March 26, 1825, and died at Leslie, Mich., December 3, 1874. They removed from Morgansville, N.Y., April 15, 1850, and finally settled in Leslie. He married, secondly, at Paw Paw, Mich., November, 1884, Miss N.[Nellie] P. Robbins*, and removed in November, 1884, to Battle Creek, Mich. In August, 1888, his wife burned to death. He married, thirdly, in 1887, Mrs. Anna Simpson. They resided in Battle Creek, Mich. [Note: His wife died in 1888 and he married 3rd in 1887??? - didn't find marriage record for marriage #3, but they're living together in 1900]
*Adam Richmond & Nellie Robbins were married on August 18, 1875, in Battle Creek, Michigan and were living in Leslie, Ingham County, Michigan, in 1880.

Adam, Frances, Adna (age 2) and 67 year old Elizabeth Carter (b. VT) were living in Van Buren County, Michigan, in 1850. "H.", F. and E.E. Richmond were living in Ingham County, Michigan, in 1860.
Adam & Frances Richmond were living in Leslie, Ingham Co., Michigan, in 1870. Living with them were 1 year old Linford (Ellsworth) and Frances' father James Sweet/Sweat, age 74. James Sweat, age 72, died in Leslie, Michigan, in November 1870.
In 1900, 76 year old Adam Richmond was living in Battle Creek, Calhoun Co., Michigan, with his wife, Anna, age 50, and their adopted son, Paul E. Lee Richmond, age 1 (born March 1899).
Adam Richmond of 77 Hanover Street died on March 12, 1902, in Battle Creek; he was buried in Leslie, Michigan. E. L. Richmond, of Main Street in Battle Creek was the informant for his death record.
Edna & Benjamin Weed and Family
Adam's daughter Edna died April 3, 1920, in Battle Creek. Mrs. J. L. Bean of Battle Creek was the informant for her death record. She may have lived in Jackson County in 1870. In 1900 Edna, Benjamin and and children Earl and Blanche were living in Bunker Hill Twp., Ingham Co., Michigan.
Benjamin & Edna (Richmond) Weed's daughter, Fanny L. Weed Bishop married John Bishop on November 18, 1916. Frank Haver and Blanchard Weed were witnesses. She also married John Bishop on December 28, 1893. On November 7, 1921. Frances Bishop married Orson Field; Ida & John L. Bean were witnesses.
Ida Weed married bookbinder John L. Bean in Battle Creek on November 15, 1893. E.L. Richmond and W. W. Robinson were witnesses.
Blanche Weed married lawyer Frank L. Haver on July 2, 1917; Mr. & Mrs. Earl Weed were witnesses. The marriage record also stated that Blanche was born in Spring Arbor which is in Jackson County, Michigan.
From the AdventistArchives, an Adventist newspaper had the obituary of Nettie Weed, who died 18 Feb. 1873, infant daughter of B.F. & Edna Weed, published 18 March 1873.
Ellsworth Linford [Lewis] & Fanny (Swan) Richmond Family
Lynn & Fanny Richmond were living in Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1900 with son Ivan and Fanny's mother, Minerva Swan. In 1910, Ellsworth & Fanny Richmond and children Ivan and Ruby were living in Otsego Twp., Allegan County, Michigan. In 1920 The Ellsworth Richmond family was living in Montgomery Co., Maryland.
