809 Susannah (Richmond) Brown

Susannah was a Mayflower descendant, as are all of the Richmonds who descend from John (2) and Abigail Rogers.


809.  SUSANNAH RICHMOND (Joseph, John, John, John, John) was born in Woodstock, Conn., in 1786, and died in Cheshire, Mass.  She married Richmond (her cousin), son of Levi Brown.  His mother was Huldah, sister of Joseph Richmond.  He died March 2, 1859.  No children.

Susannah Brown was living alone in Cheshire in 1860.  She may have died between 1860 and 1870.

On the opposite side of the lane farther to the north is the farm of the Brown's. Richmond Brown being the last one of the name who lived upon it. It was bought by Jerome Sweet, son of Elder Elnathan Sweet, and is now in the hands of Eugene Phillips and his wife Laura Sweet Phillips.
