Funeral Of Late Mrs. Beach

Lakeview, Mich., June 13--The sudden death of Mrs. Emma Richmond Beach, wife of John Beach, who resides two miles out of town has cast a gloom over this vicinity.  Last week Mrs. Beach went to the Y.B. A. home in Grand Rapids where she died Friday, June 9, as a result of an operation.....remains brought home by her aged mother, brothers and sisters. [Grand Rapids Herald, June 14, 1899]

According to her death record, she was the daughter of Samuel Richmond and Emma Gaston.  Her father was born in Canada and New York was her mother's birthplace.  She was a Michigan native who was 43 years old at the time of her death.
