Ninety Years Young

Mrs. Pierce, a resident of Grand Rapids, came from Rochester, New York, in 1852.  Attendant of Old Settlers' reunions.  Her father, George Richmond, was a veteran of the War of 1812.

Mrs. Pierce at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. D. [Elizabeth Marie] Noble, Orchard Lake...cottage of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Noble, Jr.  [Albert D. Noble died in 1899].

Mrs. Hannah Pierce was her husband's 2nd wife.  He was first married to Hannah's sister, Betsey Richmond, in 1828.  Betsey died shortly after the birth of her son, George Pierce, in 1830.
