#7430 Philena Powers (9), born April 23, 1845; married, March 6, 1862, Francis Lefever.  Francis was living with his parents, Francis & Lucy Lefever (Lefavour) in Indiantown, Bureau Co., Illinois, in 1860.  The parents, Francis & Lucy, and their daughter Ellen were in Bueau Co. in the 1870 census.  The Lefever family was in Marblehead, Essex Co., Massachusetts, in 1850.

Lucy Lefavour, was born in Rhode Island, lived in Massachusetts (and died there), and was buried in Illinois:

Philena's first husband Francis LeFavour, was born in Rhode Island and was a "tuner" according to census statistics.  A Francis F. LeFavor, born in RI and who was a piano tuner, died in the Danvers Insane Hospital in Essex Co., Massachusetts.  Because his mother also died in Massachusetts, it is a possibility that Philena's husband and the person who died in the hospital in Massachusetts, are one and the same.  The age is a bit off, though.

Philena married 2nd Henry Caly Buswell, son of James & Chloe (Pratt) Buswell,  in Henry Co., Illinois on September 28, 1892.  See Buswell information from the bio of Henry's brother, Col. N. C. Buswell.

In 1900 Philena Powers (born Apr 1845 in New York) had been married to H. C. Buswell (born April 1836 in Illinois) for 8 years and living in Grinnell Twp., Poweshiek Co., Iowa.  She was the mother of one child who was not living in 1900.  In 1910 Philena was divorced and living with her brother, Cyrus Cameron Powers, and his family.  H. C. Buswell was living with his son Charles (C.P.) and his family; another son, James, was also divorced and was living with his brother.  Henry Caly Buswell was born in Peoria, Illinois and died 3 Apr 1911.  He married 1st Mary Pratt.
