Sophia (Richmond) Franklin of Michigan

SOPHIA RICHMOND (8), (Loring 7, Joshua 6, Isaac 5, Edward 4, Edward 3, John 2, John 1) was born in Bergen, October 28, 1819. She married, December, 1843, David Franklin of LeRoy, N Y They removed to Pine Run, Genesee County, Mich.

Charlotte Franklin married Joseph Hempstead on 25 June 1864, in Genesee County, Michigan. Charlotte was found here in the 1900 census. Joseph was the son of James & Julia (Valentine) Hempstead.

Lyman, the son of David & Sophia (Richmond) Franklin, had a 2nd marriage and a 3rd marriage. Lyman Franklin, his daughter Nancy Chase, and Lyman's brother Ed in 1900; Nancy (or Nora) Franklin married Alva Chase.

Sophia (Richmond) Franklin died in Genesee County, Michigan on 6 January 1886; her husband, David, died 7 February 1900 in Genesee Co., Michigan.
