Sure wish I knew the story behind this announcement:
Thomas & Laura (Backus) Richmond were my ancestors. Their daughter, Cynthia (Richmond) More, born 29 December 1829, in Conesus, Livingston Co., New York, was not even 2 years old when her parents separated. Thomas and Laura reconciled and had Almina in 1837 and Emory in 1838 who lived to adulthood. The Richmond family moved to Lapeer County, Michigan, some time after the 1850 census was taken.
