I also have the same 3 marriages for Washington Heath. I found it very interesting that within months of Ann Maria's death, Washington married Victoria Holland. They were divorced sometime before October 31, 1865 when she married Uriah Smith Wolcott in Placer Co., Calif. I haven't found any information that she was a widow--would love to know if you find something about it. My mystery is why she was in Kent County [Michigan] in the first place?

ROUGHLY HANDLED.

A Woman's Experience in the Hydraulic Regions of Placer. Sacramento, June 10.— Mrs. Victoria Wolcott, a respectable lady who now lives in Oakland, tells a terrible story of indignities to which she was subjected on a recent visit to Gold Run. Mrs. Wolcott lived at Gold Run until about a dozen years ago. Her husband, who died some twenty years ago, was one of the pioneer settlers in the hydraulic region anl owned a claim known as the Benton and Prindle mine, which he operated until his death.
