Obituary of E. W. Richmond

E. W. (Elmer) Richmond dies suddenly.  Stricken by heart disease on street early Tuesday morning, E. W. Richmond aged 65, a Pere Marquette engineer, dropped dead at the Grandville crossing of the Pere Marquette at 6 o'clock Tuesday morning. ...heart disease was cause of death.

Leaves a widow and two daughters, Mrs. George Munro of Cedar Springs and Mrs. Charles (Chick) Lathers of Detroit.  Lathers is now an Army captain in France.

Mr. Richmond was very well known.  Popular in labor union circles.  Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Shriner and Knight Templar.
