On May 12, 1867, Permelia Turney married Allen Richmond in Fremont, Isabella County, Michigan.  There is another marriage date for Permelia, age 22, and Allen Richmond, age 37, born in Canada, on this marriage record (October 12, 1867). Ira Richmond and Geo. Low were witnesses.  Was Allen related to Permelia's Richmond ancestors?

In 1870 Permelia Richmond, a school teacher, is living in Isabella County with her son, Allen, age 2, but not with her husband Allen Richmond, in one enumeration.  Permelia and her son are also listed with Permelia's sister, Hannah (Bowers) and her family in 1870.
