The Paule Question

After Jessica of Jessica's Genejournal posed a question about becoming a certified genealogist and referred to the Board for Certification of Genealogists site here, I explored the BCG website and found the following article here:
Saxbe, William B., Jr., CG, FASG. "Who Was the Mother of James2 Paule (1657-1724) of Taunton, Massachusetts?" The American Genealogist 73 (October 1998): 312-315.
Because of the early time frame in Taunton, Massachusetts, I thought that the James Paule question may involve Mary Richmond (sister of my presumed ancestor, Edward Richmond) who married a Paul(e).

I checked my copy of the J.B. Richmond book for Mary Richmond and found her listed in a family group with her father John, the emigrant:

And then found Mary (#5, b. ca 1639) married to William Paul in the image below:

Not only did the American Genealogist article provide an example of a professional genealogist's work, it added insight to the Richmond family to whom this blog is dedicated.
