Have you uploaded your results to Gedmatch.com? It's a free site that accepts DNA results from various companies (Ancestry, FTDNA, etc) so we can all compare our matches. My DNA (and my brother's and aunt's) results are uploaded there from my FTDNA test site.

I haven't checked on a Richmond DNA group. Did you do the Y-DNA test to verify your Richmond surname?

Cathy (Powers) Palm
PalmsRVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04898416117045268799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536565121624585841.post-34629652453167010622018-03-05T15:11:34.416-05:002018-03-05T15:11:34.416-05:00I am a direct descendent of john richmond... was i...I am a direct descendent of john richmond... was interested in richmond family dna database. In 1850 she was only 12; a decade later she had moved back home after graduating from Mount Holyoke; and in 1870 she was back in their home again after having taught in the Contraband Camps in Norfolk, VA during the war. Despite the clearly documented Mayflower lineage, she was denied entry to the Mayflower society because she had married a black man, a decision she condemned in a letter to the Washington Transcript...Nancy Davis Khohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12136583645715478665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536565121624585841.post-37054510980087019672009-07-12T14:45:59.221-04:002009-07-12T14:45:59.221-04:00I would love to talk to you more about Jennie Howl...I would love to talk to you more about Jennie Howland. On one of my bedroom doors clear as day it has the signatures of "John Michael Kull" and "Richmond" in bigger font under Kull's name. Under "Richmond" it says "IP/RR". The house was built in 1852. I don't know if this helps at all, we could send you a picture of the door if you would like.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03381890314144521602noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-536565121624585841.post-4075514066363742722008-06-25T22:38:00.000-04:002008-06-25T22:38:00.000-04:00Hi!
